What You’ll Need

  • Pleasant attitude, charisma and a collaborative spirit
  • Availability for dinner and/or late night shifts
  • Passion for food & beverage
  • Maintain high standards for work areas and appearance
  • Ability to stay organized in a high volume service environment
  • Constant awareness to assist others and take initiative
  • Experience with table reservation systems is very helpful and or one year’s worth of experience with the Tripleseat reservation system
  • Experience in a Host type position with 1-2 years high volume door and podium experience
  • Applicable certificates: Food Handlers and TABC

You Should Have

  • Energetic, outgoing and sincerely derives enjoyment from providing hospitality.
  • Experience in seating and table organization for busy dining / bar and lounge
  • Strong communication and listening skills to effectively deliver accurate messaging to both guests and teammates
  • Excellent Emotional Self Awareness under pressure while maintaining a graceful, warm presence.
  • Maintains an understanding of the proper table numbers, seat positions, and flow of service required of all FOH positions
  • Have a general knowledge and understanding of Department of Health (DOH) food safety standards
  • Curious Intelligence to continue learning in the position
  • Open availability and a career mentality
  • Fine dining experience is great, however integrity, approachability and professionalism are most important
